The Church is the house of God — a sacred space where the community gathers to celebrate faith, receive divine grace, and renew the bonds of brotherly love. It stands as a symbol of unity, hope, and spirituality, reflecting the presence of Christ in the lives of the faithful and in the world.
Built between 1945 and 1949, and inaugurated on December 11 of that year, the church was designed by architect Inácio Peres Fernandes. It embodies not only a distinct architectural vision but also 75 years of history and devotion.
Over the decades, it has witnessed countless weddings, baptisms, and moments of communion, becoming a living symbol of faith, hope, and spiritual continuity for all who have entered its doors — and for those who will continue to do so.
